Fishing around Junin de los Andes area is just AMAZING! The rivers levels is slowly dropping down and the water temperatures are just perfect and very clear. Right now fishing is excellent during the whole day. There are big fish rising for mayflies, dun and spinners in 15 inches of water and it is very easy to catch then with a simple parachute Adams size 12, they are not picky at all.
For the streamers lovers there are all kind of options, from woolly buggers to big heavy sculpings everything works great. Just cast and strip fast in slow water. Big browns are hanging out there.
Chimehuin river is at its peak, water is super clear and big brown are still swimming in shallow water and not very spooky.
