Second step: endemic wild brownies on technical water class, into the forest...Bow casts and super fine presentation allowed him to catch a couple of nice colourful fishes. The time was at the end so we had a little salad and beer break into a dolomites restourant before getting into the car and start driving to the spot regarding the later evening fishing session = the most excited fishing session for large marble trout on the northern regions!
We fished for a few hours on nymph before viewing the first nice caddis and ephemeras on air...
Not really good rises and not really good fishes came out... At 8.20 pm the first super large rised heppened and till 8.55 pm the river became unbelievable..
My client fought 3 different marble trouts but was so hard get those into the net...After all 5 fishes hooked up but 2 of those broke the tippet and for the other 3 the hook came out...
Marble trout fishing in italy is like this, sometimes they rise all day long and sometimes only a few minutes just before the dark, for sure they are super selective&suspicious and they scary so easy, and during these moments this makes the difference; but when everything works well you are super excited while viewing so large bubbles on the water...
Great experience!
