Ever since the Devil’s Gold Project, I couldn’t wait to get back to the Bolivian jungle. Last November we returned to the upper Amazon basin to film Angry Rain at Caño Negro Lodge. This is a fantastic new destination that boasts some of the best fly fishing for Payara on the planet. Extra special thanks to J.W. Smith and the good folks at Rod & Gun Resources (800.211.4753) for making this project a reality.
Admittedly, Angry Rain, is an unusual title. I’ve explained the name in an article coming out in Fly Rod & Reel this month. Thank you to Sage, Nautilus, Simms, Smith Optics, Rio, AquaTech, Buff, E.P. Flies, and others for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated.
