Video - BIG Browns under BLUE skies. Fly fishing New Zealand.
Join me (Mike Kirkpatrick) and good mate Hans Kreuer as we search for a location with a forecast that might just give us the chance of some sun to wave a flyrod under for a day. The weather for the opening month of our season has been average at best, and with fly fishing being more than just catching fish, we yearn for some nice conditions to simply enjoy the day with fish being a bonus. We found some of that sun on the afternoon drive in, as we stop off briefly to check out a spot, before setting up the tents and hitting the river early the next day.
