A gorgeous late fall day floating on the Yakima River with my brother. Typical with fall fishing, the fish were podded up in slow deeper water, getting the bugs down to the fish , seemed to be the key. Early afternoon fish started to rise for a short period on BWO, but was short lived. Streamer bite seemed pretty good to, swinging sculpzillas into those deep pools seemed to draw lots of strikes. 3wt coupled with a 5ft sink tip and a sculpzilla was perfect tool for hitting those pools. Get out and fish before the snow really comes down!
