At Gifu Pref. in Japan
I went fishing for Amago trout on flies by my self.
Amago is Red-spotted trout lives in some west-part in Japan.
Some Amago becomes Sea-Run trout.
Last time I missed and unhooked 2 trouts on dryflies,
So My purpose this time was to fish on dry flies and find and fish Charr there which river system I had never fished any Charr.
In the early morining, I started to go up mountain stream whrere I never had been to.
I fished some trout on dry flies more easily than I thought.
In the early morning, It was 0 degree C but getting warmmer and sunny.
Before noon I found SuperHatch of Mayflies and then fished healthy Amago on Light Cahill down there.
It made me so wonderful.
Then I happilly found a lot of Mayflies mating on stones along the river.(At the end of this video)
As a result I could not find any charr at the river system but I was so greatful that I fished around 10 Amago on Dryflies.
I am so satisfied the result and consideration into Mayflies.
