EP fiber shrimp

I decided to go with this EP shrimp because you can easily change the colour/size/weight to suit your needs, also you can use the same pattern but add legs in the body and trim it to a rounder shape to make a nice crab imitation too.Hope you like it

Step 12

tep 12When you have filled the shank with EP fibers tie off your thread and trim the body of the fly to a nice shrimpy shape. This is optional, but I recommend it. I always coat the thread wraps at the head and along the underside of the body with some epoxy or Clear Cure Goo to make the fly durable.
