Hook: Grub size 14/16/18 Thread: Pale brown 8/0 Tails and Body: A CDC hackle Chest and wings: A CDC hackle.
Steps

Step 1

On a hook grub, I tie a CDC feather as I do when tie the Mirage.

Step 2

With the same procedure, I tie another feather on top of the first one.

Step 3

Although there are now two hackles, I proceed as I did with one hackle when tying The Mirage. I secure the base of the two feathers next to the eye of the hook, after having pulled back the CDC fibers.

Step 4

Trim off the excesses of the feathers.

Step 5

Flip forward the second extended body to divide the fibers and obtain two horizontal spent wings.

Step 6

Trim off the excess of the feathers at the hook eye.

Step 7

Tie the head of the fly.

Step 8

Trim the tip of the feather, leaving two fibers on the sides to imitate the tails.

Step 9

Remove the fly off the vise, and holding the fibers I trim the excess to give the right dimension to the wings.

Fly finished.
