I have created this fly pattern because I wanted to get a parachute to float with the whole body immersed in water.

Steps

Step 1

I take a hook grub and bend down a small part of the stem, close to the eye.

Step 2

Tie an oval gold tinsel on the bend of the hook and a CDC hackle near the crease made previously.

Step 3

I shift the tip of the hackle on the base of the same, I shift the fibers forward toward the eye, and fix them on the hook. In this way, I create a wide loo

Step 4

Starting from the fixing point of the loop, I begin to wrap around it the Tying thread, proceeding to the right, to create the post that will serve for the fastening of the hackle of the cock.

When I reach the length that I want to have the post, I go back on the hook.

I cut the fibers of a part of a rooster hackle

I tie hackle on the post so that the fibers of rooster are matched to those of CDC hackle.

I make dubbing that I need to get the body of the fly

After tying the body, I wrap around it the tinsel, large coils, fix it on the hook and cut the excess.

I tie three peacock herls close to the body.

Wrapping the herls around the shank of the hook, I forms the chest of the fly, then cut their surplus.

Step 12

I change position on the hook, so that the post is horizontal, I insert Loop tool in the loop of the CDC hackle and, keeping it taut, wrap the rooster hackle around the post, moving with the loops towards the body of the fly.

Joint at the base of the post, I put the hook in the initial position.

I tie the hackle on the hook and cut the excess

Tie the head of the fly.
