Aprion virescens, the Green jobfish, is a species of snapper native to the Indian and Pacific oceans from the African coast to the Hawaiian Islands. This species inhabits various reef environments at depths of from near the surface to 180 feet (55 m). This species grows to a length of 112 centimetres (44 in) TL though most do not exceed 90 centimetres (35 in).
