I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease five years ago.  One outcome of this diagnosis was that I was advised by my doctor (an avid flyfisherman himself) to curtail my wading and limit my fishing to floating with a guide.  I have a superb guide and friend now.  But costs limit my fishing to one or two days a year.  So now, instead of struggling to get into my waders and boots, I sit at my tying bench and practice to become aa better tier of flies.

One of my joys is to present a half-dozen of my flies to my neurologist each time a visit him for a check- up.  I also get pleasure from reading about fly tying and watching video tying demonstrations.
