October is magically beautiful fall month on Oregon’s Umpqua River and everything to do with the Historic Steamboat Inn; the people, the food, the setting, the riverside trails, etc. are outstanding. Some of the water is easy to fish and wade. But much of it requires having Balls the size of Texas, especially when carrying expensive cameras. You’ll feel like Clint Eastwood when you go home.
