Paso 1
Take a CDC feather, strain the fibers toward the tip and fix it on a hook grub.
Paso 2
Tie the feather on the hook as if I were tying the Mirage 2.
Paso 3
In the same point, I fix some long fibers of rooster hackle, placed above the feather right beyond the bend of the hook, which will imitate the tail of the fly.
Paso 4
Lightly holding tense the extended body and the hackle fibers, I wrap the tying thread around them with open spiral wraps.
Paso 5
When I reach the length of the extended body, I go back towards the eye with open spiral wraps crossing the previously wraps.
Paso 6
Cut the feather that exceeds from the extended body.
Paso 7
With the tying thread, I'll go over the fibers that exceed from the extended body and keeping the tip of the hackle in tension, I strain the fibers toward the hook and fix them next to the eye.
Paso 8
Cut the excess of the feather.
Paso 9
Collect the fibers that exceed from the extended body with those of the tip, I cross the thread around their base and tie the head of the fly.
Paso 10
Take off the fly from vise and cut the fibers of the wings that exceed in length.
Paso 11
