Ben Zander. He has fished all over the western states for trout and steelhead as well as having a serious addiction for tarpon in the Gulf of Mexico. However, his passion can not be contained for the Puget Sound. South sound, to Seattle, to north of Bellingham, Ben has fished it all. He has developed innovative flies for imitating bait fish to larger marabou flies for salmon in the salt. Ben has developed a following of customers at Pacific Fly Fishers, where he is when not guiding, who seek his advice on coastal cutthroat. "There really is nothing more enjoyable than to see someone's face when they hook up with a cutthroat for the first time in the salt."
