Our lodge is focused on our large, log built main lodge. There is a dining room that overlooks Merrell Lake and a bar and deck area on the other side that looks out over Paradise Valley. In between is a large great room with cozy sitting areas and a huge stone fireplace. We have tried to create a true Western setting with all the comforts you could ever want.

We live and work in an amazing area. We want to welcome you into our family while you explore and learn about this incredible country.
We have a large variety of water to choose from in our area. We have all types of water from small pocket water fisheries to extremely technical spring creeks. You can throw size 6 foam stoneflies, size 22 midges, or anything in between. Choose between sight fishing for lunkers or throwing attractors for brookies. We have a little bit of everything.
Our float fishing is on the Yellowstone River. Our guides will take you down in MacKenzie style drift boats and do a wonderful streamside lunch. With over sixty miles to choose from we can keep you busy!
The upper stretches below the town of Gardiner is our "home water". Yellowstone Cutthroats dominate here and large dry flies are the norm. Large boulders and rapids create great pockets and back eddies.
The middle stretches between our lodge Ver más...and Livingston see a more even mix of trout species, and more gravel bars and riffles. We use a larger variety of techniques in this area and work "hot spots".
As we get to Livingston and beyond we see more brown trout in the mix. Streamer fishing is a great way to catch these lunkers.
We wade fish the northern half of Yellowstone National Park. You will not only find great fishing but also see one of the most unique areas in the world.
The Firehole River is our early season stomping grounds. Prolific hatches and in-river thermal features are the theme here.
By July we are in Lamar Valley working its large meadow streams. Soda Butte Creek, Lamar River, and Slough Creek provide great dry fly fishing for Yellowstone Cutthroats. Easy wading and bison herds highlight this area. The upper meadows of Slough offer secluded hike-in fishing.
The Gardiner River is a great freestone stream just inside the entrance to the Park. Pocket water and some deep holes let us throw attractor patterns on top and deep nymph for lunkers. A great change of pace river.
Lave Creek, Blacktail Deer Creek, Straight Creek, Obsidian Creek, Upper Gardiner - a great list of beautiful little brookie streams.
Cascade and Grebe Lake offer hike-in greyling fishing. Jaffe Lake is a fun brook trout lake.
And don't forget the private water in our area...
Merrell Lake is 85 acres of spring fed lake on our front steps. Drift boats wait on the dock for the do it yourselfers. Very popular before breakfast and after dinner. Large browns and rainbows are the fare here.
Tom Miner Creek winds for miles through our ranch. Brushy and small, it is the ultimate small stream fishing. Attractor patterns and a light fly rod do the trick.
DePuy's, Nelson's, and Armstrong's are the famous Livingston Spring Creeks. Rod fees and reservations are required, and a lot of patience! The ultimate in technical fishing, these creeks are the Holy Grail for many fisherman. Small flies, long, light leaders, and spooky risers are the name of the game.
