The Fly Shop has been exploring Russia’s uber-remote Kamchatka
Peninsula since 1993, and have dedicated a portion of our annual
angling calendar each year to further discovering the incredible
rainbow trout fishing that is found there, in some of the last
remaining true wilderness environments left on Earth. It is an
angling odyssey unlike no other, indescribable to anyone who hasn’t
been there.
So, when we sent Ryan Peterson on his 9th season living and guiding
in Kamchatka with a “side-mission” to film a short video
encapsulating the Kamchatka experience, he had the vision to have
someone else tell the story of Kamchatka: this video is the
culmination of our 2013 season, narrated in the words of our guests,
those fortunate and fearless souls who shared their Kamchatka
adventures with us. No one else could have said it better!
