Bar Z is situated centrally in southwestern Montana and within a couple hours drive from four major rivers that course through the state. As so, Full-day float trips on the Yellowstone, Madison, and Missouri Rivers are available upon request. These professionally guided trips meander through some of Montana’s most scenic landscape where you’ll have the opportunity to hook wild rainbow trout, native Montana cutthroat, brook trout, and big browns.

As a guest on our working cattle ranch you’ll have access to an array of water including 8+ miles along the famed Upper Smith River, 4+ miles along the North Fork of the Smith River, 14+ miles along Sheep Creek, and access to our private 9 acre lake.
